Establishing Great Team Performance

Today’s working environment requires individuals and the teams they operate in to have a real understanding of the demands and expectations of their organisation, the dynamics of their relationships with their stakeholders, their purpose, the impact of their behaviour on each other and an understanding of what can lead to greater effectiveness. The more they know this the more readily they will be able to respond to the constantly changing environment they operate in.

It is proven that organisations with greater flexibility manage and succeed better.

Our belief is that highly effective teams need to work hard to succeed, and that team coaching can support them in improving their team success. You may be a team that is:
  • Highly successful who wants to: stop and think what next, become more effective in your work/market place, and move you team’s performance to the next level
  • Going through some form of transition; changes in leadership, new roles and relationships, requiring some new strategies and skills, different knowledge and working styles
  • Part of a wider organisational change process and your stakeholders and strategies need to be re assessed
Some examples of our work :
  • A senior finance team, of an engineering business: The team had been though a difficult transition period; they are moving into new roles requiring different working styles. There were both growing pains and tensions in the relationships as they were being asked to “step up” and perform in their new roles. We worked with them on the impact of the change and how they could work within this environment, including their skills to have robust and constructive conversations with each other.
  • A committed and passionate leadership team with drive, strong corporate experience and intellectual capacity. They wanted and needed to take this performance to the next level to enable them to work with some of the challenges the organisation was about to face. This included doing some work on understanding core purpose, stakeholder analysis, gaining clarity on roles and their part in the team and finally understanding how they could work more effectively together.
